Custom Made Reining Saddle

SOLD! Custom Made Reining Saddle. 16" Seat. Semi quarterhorse bars. 6 1/2" Gullet. Medium Oil with brown suede seat. Originally Made with a custom engraved date of 4/28/1993. Made by an "ex-Champion brand" saddle maker who struck out on his own and sold exclusivley for retail stores in the Northwest. Quality leather throughout with a unique "Bob Loomis" rigging for ultra close contact. Sterling Silver Overlay used throughout. This saddle is in excellent working condition with many more years of use. This saddle is by far the most comfortable saddle you will sit in and it has fit many different horses. $1000. Ian Miller Vision Saddle This saddle is getting rarer and harder to find - this is an Ian Miller Vision Close Contact saddle - made in England and top quality - these were very popular saddles when they came out - designed by the top show jumper, Ian Miller. The saddle has a wider seat or weight bearing area and a tad wider twist - in comparison to say the Prix D saddle - making it comfy for equitation to jumping! After the English version came out and grew in popularity, Collegiate made an Ian Miller model styled after this one - only more affordable - however, like all remakes they were not quite the same saddle. Seat size: Actual measurement is 16 3/4 inch - so if you ride in a tight 17 inch and like it - this will be fine also. Flap length: standard 13 inch flap Tree: Solid and tight Billets: Double stitched and stong and tight - two on each side have been replaced with brand new billets and all are serviceable and strong Gullet width: Medium tree - measures 3 3/4 inch across the front or 7 1/2 inches from dring to dring and has a mild cutback pommel - just a hair wider at the front than a true medium usually measures. It was definately made with Tbred or Appendix type horse with a nice average withers. No wide horses need apply here. Narrow horse may go in this - with a wither build up pad.
