BOARDING INFORMATION BOARDING INFORMATION

New Song Stables is a Premiere Whatcom County, WA Boarding and Training facility that caters to "show-minded" riders that are serious about their riding. We are a diverse group with varied backgrounds and disciplines, from the Show Jumper and Dressage rider to the Western Pleasure, Hunter Under Saddle or Reining Breed Show Competitor and open show level enthusiast. We are blessed with clients and friends who have created a positive atmosphere at our barn. We are committed to maintaining this atmosphere.

New Song Stables is located in Northern Whatcom County, WA about 30 minutes north of Bellingham and approximately 6 miles from the Canadian Border. Conveniently located off I-5 Exit 270 and 1 mile east of I-5 on the Birch Bay Lynden Road.

Set on 10 acres are 2 barns with 25 stalls and spacious pasture with large individual paddocks. We are a first class full service boarding facility with a professional courteous staff. We offer premium quality grass and alfalfa hay and a high quality pelleted grain. Our feed times remain consistent throughout the year with consistent feeders. This helps to reduce anxiety on the horses' part causing ulcers and colic. Horses need not worry at New Song Stables where they are turned out daily and have a minimum of 2 hours up to 7 hours of outside paddock turnout (weather permitting). All horses are monitored every day and owners are notified of any concerns regarding health or behavior changes.

These practices, while costing more, help reduce colic, digestive upset, and improve the overall health of your horse. As the owner of a horse boarded at New Song, you CAN go on a vacation and not worry about the well-being of your prized possession. You CAN relax and have fun! How much is that worth to you in your busy life?

STALL AVAILABILITY

Please do not hesitate to call or stop by during business hours to visit our facility. (9am - 5pm Monday through Friday). We call people on the waiting list when a stall becomes available. A waiting list does not mean that you would have to wait until all people on the list have received stalls. Sometimes when we call the list, prospective boarders have found other places to board their horses, this means that you may be called up next! Our stable may have a horse or two leaving this summer/fall. Take the opportunity to get on the list now if this is the place you eventually want to be! Call Susan at 360-319-7060.

Manager Bio Manager Bio

Raised in Whatcom County, Susan Adrian has been around horses all her life. She spent several years at the local and then breed level showing Amateur Event Quarter Horses and Arabians. Much of Susan's life was spent working for local printing companies in customer service, sales and estimating. In 2005, Susan decided the horse life was calling her and charged head first into the world of horse training. In April of 2006 Susan also became Manager of New Song Stables. Susan and her clients enjoyed much sucess in the short time that she trained, from a Region 5 Arabian Sporthorse Champion to multiple AQHA All Around Champions. After a nasty spill on a clients' horse in 2007, Susan decided to hang up her training spurs and concentrate more on the maintenance and promotion of the Stable.

Susan hopes to generate interest from all equine disciplines and be able to support all needs at New Song Stables. Future goals include providing clinics and special events.
